A PLACE OF HORTICULTURE

Creativity, context, and community have always been at the heart of my work. I’m a designer with a background in architecture and a deep passion for connecting people and place through thoughtful, purposeful design. Whether through gardens, housing, or public spaces, I’m drawn to projects that foster belonging and elevate everyday experiences.

Over the years, I’ve worked across sectors—ranging from cultural and educational projects at institutions like the National Gallery and the Wallace Collection, to hands-on design and build projects including award-winning work with the RHS. I currently work in housing development, supporting the creation of sustainable, affordable homes and contributing to wider community regeneration.

My design philosophy is rooted in sensitivity to setting and story. Inspired by ideas like biophilic design and place-making, I focus on creating environments that feel natural, intentional, and emotionally resonant. A recent highlight includes my garden for the RHS Tatton Flower Show 2024, which explored long-form narrative planting and heritage connection.

At the core of everything I do is a belief in design as a tool for positive change—whether that’s through a landscape, a home, or a neighbourhood.
